Small Town Life

In many cases small town people get a stigma for not wanting to leave. They are stuck in their “small town mindset”. However that is not the case for some. While yes I will always love living in a small, I also love exploring and traveling.
Beach, Please!
I have never loved another destination more than the beach. ANY BEACH! I have been to Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Perdido Key, and Tybee Island beaches. I love the feel of walking in sand, hearing the waves crash on the shore, the warmth of the sun on my skin, the view, the “beach smell” I love it all! I am 100% calm at the beach.
While out West
Before summer 2017 I had never been west of Arkansas. However in one summer, I made 3 trips out of Arkansas. The First trip was family vacation to Colorado Springs. We drove straight through. Left our house, went through Oklahoma, across the panhandle of Texas, corner of New Mexico, and up into Colorado. This was BEAUTIFUL however my family learned quickly elevation sickness was a real thing! The second trip was to Pawhuska, Oklahoma to the Pioneer Woman Mercantile and the Lodge. My third trip was to Dallas, Texas to a youth conference.
I just love traveling! I have a bucket list of potential future travel destinations.
Welcome
Being a full time student does take up a good amount of my time, but what takes up MORE of my time, is church! To add to my love of children I teach Children’s Church on Sundays, and assist in teaching a Sunday night class. Church is where I first had experience with teaching, and fell in love with seeing the “lightbulb” go off, when my kids understood the concept I was teaching! Church takes up the most time, but I would never want it to be any different. My faith is the source of my life. It affects every aspect of my life, why I make the decisions, and how I chose to live my life. I am thankful for the biblical foundation of life I was taught, it has certainly made aspects of my life easier.
